To Whom it may concern:
I wanted to take a few minutes of my time to share my experience with Harry and Andrea Mesh. My name is Richard Burtner, I'm a 30 year old insurance adjuster, I have a wife and a young daughter. I wanted to sell my New Jersey home and do so in a hurry as there was a career advancement opportunity for me in Massachusetts. I think that I should let it be known that I'm not an easy person to please, I work in customer service and I have very high expectations when I receive a service from anyone. I never bother to voice my opinion unless the service I receive is outstanding.
I know a person in the Real estate business, he's my best friend's father, so naturally I thought of using him to help guide me through this confusing stressful process. I quickly realized that friends and money mix like oil and water, not so well. I was back to square one, I had a job in another state, no one to buy my house, and time was running out. I was referred to Harry and Andrea by a business associate that used them, he has VERY high standards, he also had nothing but nice things to say about them. My friend's opinion of Harry and Andrea and their own accomplishments made me feel that I should use them.
I called Andrea and left her a voice message, I received a return call from Harry promptly. Harry immediately set up an appointment to meet with us, I felt like I was in good hands right away, Harry and Andrea didn't waste a moment. I had been working on my home for the entire time I lived there, upgrading appliances, I installed a new carpet, i built a new deck in the back yard, i changed all the faucets, ceiling fans, light fixtures, outlets, and switches, so the majority of the home was new but I have no experience with decorating, my home was like most others, personal. Harry and Andrea had a "Stager" come to my home to evaluate it and give us tips on how to make my home a model home. My wife and I listened to the Stager's suggestions, we hired a painter and removed some clutter from around the house, and my father and I did a little land scaping in front of my home to add some curb appeal. There weren't many people looking to buy in my neighborhood, but we had a solid 3 weeks of that first time home buyer's tax credit left so we had a small opportunity to sell.
Harry and Andrea took advantage of what little time they had, they were able to price my home correctly, and get some people in to check it out. The first person who looked at my home eventually bought it. We got top dollar in my little co-op development at a time where units sat on the market for as long as a year with minimal investment. Needless to say we were pleased.
Like selling my house for top dollar in a bad market wasn't enough, Harry kept in touch to make sure I felt comfortable with what was going on through the closing. He even gave me advise on how to deal with my purchase and made sure that I found a nice home after his Job was done. I didn't expect this at all, most people are done with their job once they have been paid. The follow up was a nice touch.
Harry and Andrea made the other real estate agents in this process look like it was their first day on the job. I didn't have to ask many questions, Harry and Andrea told me every thing that I needed to know up front, when I did ask questions they were patient because they knew that there was alot of information to absorb in little time. I couldn't have been happier with how the sale of my home went. I would recommend Harry and Andrea to anyone that I know looking to sell or buy a home in New Jersey because they are the best.
Sincerely,
Richard S. Burtner
